My F*ck Up Story - Sharing Stories Of Professional Failure
Limited Capacity full
Adding this to your schedule will put you on the waitlist.

We tend to share our achievements and hide our failures, wrote Destro, a 25-year-old digital analyst and business school graduate based in Napoli, Italy.

Life is not made of success stories alone, but mostly of people failing and getting back on track with more hunger and motivation. What we see often, however, is that the success stories are broadcast worldwide while the sweat-soaked stories of mistakes and failure are buried, never to be heard or seen again. How sad this is for the future because what better way is there to learn that to study the mistakes of our heroes past and so know what paths to avoid?

F*ckup Nights is a global movement and event series that shares stories of professional failure. Each month, in events across the globe, we get three to four people to get up in front of a room full of strangers to share their professional f*ckup. The stories of the business that crashes and burns, the partnership deal that goes sour, the product that has to be recalled, the sleepless nights spent working on a demo or a Youtube video that eventually nobody wanted to hear or see...we tell them all. The aim of this is to encourage people to step out of their comfort zone and know that failure by itself is not bad. The actual failure is in not getting up after failing.

"My F*ckup story" is a replica of our monthly event series. We'll be inviting professionals from the fields of business, entertainment, beauty, arts, etc. to come to share their stories of failure. All attendees at this event will leave knowing that mistakes are not bad. They are great in fact because they catalyse you to get up and go at it again. And again. And again. Until you get it right.

The Digital Woman: Creating Aware, Safe, & Empowered Citizens
Limited Capacity full
Adding this to your schedule will put you on the waitlist.

2018 can easily be named the year of The Woman . Across the world, both social and traditional media buzzed with several incidents breaking down gender stereotypes and cultures as well as women finding their voices. In 2017, hashtags like #Metoo birthed a new dimension in advocacy that women are replicating across matters that concern them, and state and non-state actors are increasingly demonstrating an understanding of creating spaces for equity.
The question is, how do we prepare women to lead in this rapidly-changing world? How do we strengthen their voices and actualise their aspirations?

With technology as its central theme, our potpourri style event walks through the deployment of technology in the business, advocacy, and politics. We invite women at all stages of their careers (students, entrepreneurs, employees or employers of labour) to join us for a truly enlightening, no-holds-barred conversation.

Are you a woman? A business owner or thinking about starting a business? Are you in search of a community of support for all things technological? DO you need to build skills around digital marketing in its entirety? Interested in making new friends? This class is for you!

Attendees will:
  1. Gain a rounded understanding of how technology can be deployed across politics, advocacy, security, and business in 2019.
  2. Provide a live training session for integrating several digital marketing techniques.
  3.  Explore storytelling via successful practitioners and its importance in amplifying advocacy concerns.
  4.  Build new networks, access fabulous merchandise, and win fantastic gifts .
