While today's songwriters and performers can potentially make more money than ever before, that doesn't automatically mean they're going to be set for life. We've all seen the hard-luck stories about singers who were big stars just a few years ago who somehow wind up penniless after a series of setbacks, and we continue to see artists from all genres or music, who declare bankruptcy, sometimes even repeatedly, in an effort to manage debts that exceed their incomes.

The panel will discuss the new music economy and the critical importance of a collaborative team approach to proactively build and protect the artist/band/ producer s financial resources, with real-life planning strategies and safeguards that can be utilized to avoid the potential landmines, helping to ensure a solid, and stress-free financial future.
