Stories - with great influence comes great responsibility. Never more so than when we consider the future of storytelling. Immersive Stories - The Future of Storytelling is a panel discussion exploring immersive storytelling - a powerful new tool for sharing experiences.

Immersive storytelling's significant power has been utilized by the likes of the UN who set up a VR unit in 2015 to showcase their work. It has been embraced by journalism (in 2016 the New York Times sent Google Cardboard headsets to all its subscribers in the US), advertising and many more to bring stories to life in a ways that had not been possible.

As we discuss the technologies that underpin immersive storytelling - augmented and virtual reality - we'll discuss both what they enable, and the dark side of this potential. Who will ensure that we tell stories for good?

This panel discussion brings the future to Africa, with a series of trailblazers who are at the forefront of utilizing immersive storytelling for their craft.
