Across the world, both social and traditional media buzzed with several incidents breaking down gender stereotypes and cultures as well as women finding their voices. In 2017, hashtags like #Metoo birthed a new dimension in advocacy that women are replicating across matters that concern them, and state and non-state actors are increasingly demonstrating an understanding of creating spaces for equity.
The question is, how do we prepare women to lead in this rapidly-changing world? How do we strengthen their voices and actualise their aspirations?
With technology as its central theme, our potpourri style event walks through the deployment of technology in the business, advocacy, and politics.
