The majority of Nigerian citizens believe they have no influence on elected representatives. Educating citizens through social media on the need to be active in order to have an accountable government is imperative.

EiE s presents Office Of The Citizen: Holding Government Accountable,  a panel session that will focus on how citizens can hold elected representatives accountable using the power of social media to examine the recall process and petitions.

Citizens are unaware of the recall process and how to go about it, we will give a step by step approach for result while giving real life cases of elected public office holders who have been held accountable by citizens through petitions and the recall process.

As we gear up to the 2019 general elections we will enlighten Nigerians that the office of the citizen is the highest office in the land.
